Professor Langdon Explains the project:

Professor Langdon described the project to me:

"This summer I am refining and combining the various models (which you currently see only the preliminary images of) into a huge conglomerate of the entire castle as well as cottage outbuildings. I anticipate this will grow to encompace even the surrounding villages over the next few years. The first animation, of the Great Hall, is a 15.3 meg animated gif file -- somewhat too large to post online, so we have it only on CD for now. The other animations are still only preliminary"

"Our students do enjoy being able to dynamically "walk through" the virtual reality castle models - something we cannot yet transmitt readily through the web - but we will continue to create various renderings for all to enjoy."

Professor Langdon has informed us that eventually (when finished) all the work will be submitted to Graphisoft (a world wide competition for the best college work done with their Archi-CAD software),  They distribute the results (with QuickTime VR and animations) on CDs.
